I've been itching to draw folk costumes for a while now so i figured i'd jump on the international Miku trend! These Mikus are from Ternopil, Ukraine; and Tula, Russia - one for each side of my family <3

i know there are only like five of us but i feel like garth stans really don't talk enough about how left out he feels with the titans. dick and wally are Best Friends. donna and roy are on and off again. dick and donna are too much to explain. on average, roy is close with at least one of dick's siblings. dick donna and wally all go on to be in the new teen titans. garth isn't Close with any other titans but the originals

and it's this thing where,,, it's not his Fault yknow? he's not mean or spiteful or creepy or anything that would warrant them not liking him as much. he joins in on their jokes, he risks his life, he shares his feelings, he does everything that he knows friends do. but just the virtue of him being atlantean and them being land dwellers ruins everything. he Can't spend more time with them, he doesn't understand their culture, he will always choose atlantis.

they'll always be his friends but he can never truly be with them or form deeper bonds. he'll always be the last one to know what's going on, the last one they call, a complete shadow and afterthought.

and sure there's a part of him that knows this, that feels bitter and lonely. but he can't even be that mad at them because he does the same thing. the titans are never his first thought, he never calls them first, he doesn't reach out and ask if they're okay, they're always the last ones to know what happened to him. the titans are such a huge part of his life but they're barely in it.

there's just something so inherently lonely about garth that i feel most dc writers don't understand. they just don't get it. they don't get what it's like for this boy who was all alone, never had parents or a family, suddenly being taken in and having to act like he knows how to be a son, a friend, a partner. meeting kids his own age and wanting to bond with them so bad, having to watch as they all get closer to each other and leave him behind, not being able to do anything about it. never being taken seriously, always the last choice... garth man.....

okay this is not a prediction just a wish a hope a dream but... I really want Tula to kill Bennet. I feel like Brennan keeps trying to emphasize that Tula clocking him as dtf isn't about her being interested but her trying to figure out how to use him. And everyone keeps glossing over it and I understand why but I'm actually so interested in that aspect of Tula? She's calculating, she's smart, she's the kind of person to focus on the goal above everything else. And for her, the goal is her children. And if she can use Bennet to secure safety for them, she will. I just also think that if she clocks him as a threat to her kids, no matter how much kindness she has shown him, no matter how much he trusts her, she will not hesitate to kill him. Just like she didn't hesitate to go for the heart of the bear.

I don't have the same bad feeling about the last bast that a lot of people seem to have (mainly due to Viola's vision), but I do think there is something bad coming from a stoat involved in the last bast. I'm hoping it's Geoffrey, honestly

so like actual question: metal is... a big genre, with lots of subgenres. i kinda know what i like musically, but i don't know how to describe that. i feel like just saying "i want to listen to more metal bands" is a statement that doesn't really say what i want it to say.

i see ghost described as metal, and i do love ghost, but if i say i want to listen to metal, i don't mean ghost.

when i think of metal i think of more... sleep theory? bmth's more aggressive/non pop stuff? bullet for my valentine? spiritbox? motionless in white?

antivist by bmth (youtube link) has been exactly what i'm looking for, but while i adore all of their stuff, it feels like way more of an outlier as compared to a lot of their other music.

i very specifically want the part of metal that has screaming. i don't mind stuff that edges into more electronic (love that about bmth). i want steady tempo. again, i'm seeing metalcore as a genre name, but music genres tend to be ephemeral at best

the bear couldn’t speak. the bear wasn’t able to rationalize and fully understand what was going on with it it just knew what was going on was bad and wrong. it must be a terrifying existence for Dr.Wenabocker to understand that he Should be able to tell someone what’s going on with him, if he was able to he would have done it 20 years ago surely. this thing inside him has, rather maliciously and only in the pursuit of power, kept him in what i can only imagine is a state of pain and intense fear for 20 years
